An artist like Jenseits who has a massive presence in Nostress Netlabel with three digital albums, a song in the latest anniversary compilation, a CD and a vinyl as "Etterem" must be considered with much care. We like to imagine Jenseits (Francesco Vecchi from Milano) as an artist who tends ambushes to the literary and cinema works to create his own synthesis, his own representation and interpretation of it just to give us completely and unusual matted sounds...music toys, rewinds with a lot of samples subjected to a metaphysical and delirious stress with songs, vaguely new wave, often low-fi, but with a strong and provocative punk aesthetic line that makes him look almost like an alien visitor in the cultural landscape world...a sort of "Belphegor" not hidden in a Parisian museum but instead, with his "artistic ambushes," violates and reinterprets, in his own way, cultural masterpieces and movies capturing essential nectar just to run away after and then come out somewhere else. For these reasons Nostress Netlabel really wanted to commission and produce yet another new album coming out on CD in limited edition inspired by the 1991 movie "Bis ans Ende der Welt" by Wim Wenders, a movie that only after several years was reassembled by the same director and released in a final version lasting over four hours. This new album "Welt" also tells a long journey, a precise idea of social cultural-global expansion fomented by using the simple names of cities as track titles and places that have a fundamental role in the movie. Cover and back cover, in perfect dark style, show two partial frames of female faces captured by the evil of the neurotic Doctor Farber's machine able to record, capture and violate the individual sacredness of the dreams and also tells how behind an obsessive life it's possible to generate a germ that creates the monster. Once again Jenseits seems to feel an inner strength, a passion and an artistic predisposition toward an assimilation of literary or cinematic that light on a fire and an irresistible attraction that leads him to create his own musical language as an additional contribution and tribute to the work itself. "Welt" is an album that should be listened and treated in one breath just not to lose the taste and essence of the fantastic and imaginary journey that music and sampling can originate with each listen.
